Clementine's Wicked 9th Birthday!

Step into the magic with Galinda and Elphaba to join us as we bring Wicked to life in the most enchanting way for Clementine's unforgettable 9th birthday celebration! From custom-designed decor that brought the beloved musical to life, every detail was tailored to create a memorable experience for our young dreamer. Read along as we share how we turned Clementine’s magical vision into an amazing celebration!

The party was hosted at our house, where we set the scene with a stunning customized Wicked vinyl backdrop. A pink and green balloon arch greeted guests at the entrance, adorned with delicate green vines and bright pink flowers. My favorite decorative touch? The Elphaba and Glinda silhouette cutouts! They added the perfect bit of enchantment to the space. The girls had a cozy spot to sit and hang out on a light pink and white rug placed in front of the backdrop, which quickly became the ideal photo opportunity for all the moms who dropped off their children!

In the living room, we welcomed the girls with soft pink and green curtains that set the tone for the next fun activity we had planned for them. When they entered the dining room, they were greeted by a Create Your Own Cereal Wall, a unique pink and green treat station. The girls picked between a fun variety of sugary cereals… who would have thought Lucky Charms would be the first to go!

After creating their own cereals they were seated at our customized table scape. The table was set with a charming touch of Wicked magic, featuring each guest’s very own personalized Wicked movie theater ticket, black charger, green bowl, and pink cups. Green flowers were arranged in sleek black vases, while glass vases filled with purple twinkling lights ran down the center of the table, adding a magical touch to the tablescape. 

For added excitement, we teamed up with a talented third-party vendor who brought their creative activities to the party. The girls had a blast customizing their own accessories, designing personalized belt bags, and picking out socks and other fun, girly goodies. To top it all off, they each got their hair done with colorful clip-in highlights and shimmery braids, adding an extra pop of fun to this already glamorous celebration! More photos were taken by one of my favorite photographers David Kenas. We finished off the celebration with singing happy birthday and had the girls dancing around till the night was over!

It was such a joy watching everyone dive into the fun and leave with special creations they made themselves. And let me tell you, I had just as much fun planning and executing this Wickedly magical birthday as the girls did attending it. Here's to many more amazing celebrations that will create even more favorite memories of ours!!
